Student killed when hit by NA truck
LALITPUR, APR 19 -
A student has been killed when hit by a truck belonging to the Nepal Army at Gwarko of Lalitpur on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Ghanashyam Rai of Patan Multiple Campus. He was hit by the truck (Ba 1 Ga 1642) this morning.
Following the accident, fellow students demonstrated in Gwarko area, demanding action against the guilty and compensation to the deceased family.
Transportation in Gwarko area came to a grinding halt for some half an hour due to the demonstration.
Meanwhile, truck driver has already surrendered before the police, traffic police informed.
